Add function to vmx file tutorial In order to booting VMware ESX server virtual machine, we need to add extra function to the vmx configuration file. By adding ethernet0.VirtualDev= "e1000" we change the default network card to intel e1000. and make sure connection is bridged by adding ethernet0.connectionType="bridged" and ethernet0.addressType= "generated". by adding monitor_control.restrict_backdoor= "TRUE" and monitor_control.vt32= "TRUE" we restrict back door capable ties.
